Costs

Sitting Pretty’s fees (paid via credit card):

 Membership: £12.50 per quarter (so that’s just £1 per week – min of 3 months).

Babysitting nominal booking fee:  £5.50 per booking (£6.50 if starting before 7pm)

To your babysitter: (in cash on the night) Evenings:

Sunday to Friday (evenings from 7pm) – £7.50 per hour

Saturday evenings and all hours before 7pm – £8.50ph

We have a four-hour minimum booking policy for all bookings except for: Monday Tuesday Wednesday and Sunday evenings, when we will take bookings for a minimum of three hours.

 DAYTIMES (limited availability)

Booking Fee:  £8.50 per booking 

You pay the nanny: (in cash on the day) £9.0ph

Temp Nanny placements (daytime bookings for longer than 2 days) 

We can  provide temporary nannies if you need a longer period of childcare.  Extra help for a week or two, or perhaps cover for your nanny if she’s unwell or on holiday. Please email or call with you requirements. contact us

Nanny Placement fees:

If an offer of a permanent position is made to one of our registered babysitters, then Sitting Pretty is entitled to a placement fee of two weeks equivalent of the girl’s salary.

Cancellation Policy

Once you have been given the name of your sitter, your booking has been confirmed. From that moment the booking fee will be applicable, even if you cancel your booking. No fees will be due to the babysitter unless you cancel on the day of the booking. In that event, we ask that next time you use your sitter, you give her an extra two hours babysitters fees by way of a cancellation fee.

Please note that the quarterly fee will renew automatically until you inform the office by text or email that you wish to pause your membership.

Babysitters are not permitted to take private bookings from our registered families. Please contact the office if you would like to book a sitter.
