Booking a Babysitter

Getting Started

We know it can be hard to leave your baby with a sitter for the first time, and many parents ask us the best way to go about starting. We suggest that for your first booking:

• Book your babysitter for at least an hour before you go out – that way you can all get to know each other.

• Go somewhere fairly local for a short time, and if you wish you can even check in halfway through the evening.

• Feel free to call or text your babysitter during the booking: our babysitters are professional child carers and will be happy to reassure you throughout the process.

Meet Your Babysitter

We also offer a ‘Meet your Babysitter’ service. This way, you can meet your sitter before your first booking: the sitter will visit you for up to one hour so you can all get to know each other. Please note that we cannot guarantee future availability of the babysitters so it’s important to make your first booking at the same time as this meeting if at all possible.

The fee for this service is £12, for up to an hour – to your babysitter.

We understand that one size does not fit all: that’s why our service is designed to be parent-led. They’re your children – the most important people in the world.
